No. The helpdesk Aid is free, full stop, including new versions. The only thing we ever invoice for is project work you've explicitly engaged us on — and we quote that up front.
Same model. Aids for your clients are free. MSP-fleet enablement work (custom dashboards, escalation runbooks, white-label persona work) is project-billed. Many MSPs roll the projects into their own MRR with their clients.
The economics work because (a) the Aid is genuinely cheap to operate per tenant, (b) most of our customers do end up asking us about other projects, and (c) we'd rather have a deep relationship with you than a thin transactional one. Free is the wedge; trust is the moat.
